Workplace Wellness

Supporting Energy, Resilience and Sustainable Performance at Work

Modern workplaces ask a lot of people. Long hours, constant decision-making, demanding workloads, and the pressure to always be “on” can gradually drain energy, focus, and resilience. Over time, this can lead to fatigue, reduced productivity, and burnout.

Supporting the wellbeing of your team isn’t simply a wellbeing initiative, it’s an investment in the people who drive your
organisation forward.

At Nourish to Soar, I provide engaging, evidence-based workplace wellbeing sessions that help employees understand how nutrition, lifestyle, stress, and mindset influence their energy, concentration, and long-term health. Participants leave with practical tools they can apply immediately to support both their personal wellbeing and their professional performance.

A Whole-Person Approach to Workplace Wellbeing

My work combines three key areas that strongly influence energy and performance:

Nutrition – supporting stable energy, focus, and metabolic health
Lifestyle – sleep, movement, and daily habits that influence resilience
Mindset – understanding stress patterns, behaviours, and decision making

Rather than overwhelming people with information, sessions focus on simple, realistic changes that fit within busy lives and demanding roles.

                                                                                  Workplace Workshops and Talks

Sessions can be delivered in person or online and typically run between 45–90 minutes, depending on your organisation’s needs.

Popular topics include:

Energy and Productivity: The Role of Nutrition at Work
Understanding how food choices influence concentration, energy levels, and mental clarity throughout the working day.

Avoiding the Afternoon Slump
Practical strategies to stabilise blood sugar, improve focus, and avoid the 3pm crash.

Nutrition and Mental Wellbeing
Exploring the link between gut health, neurotransmitters, and mood.

Stress, Burnout and Resilience
Understanding how chronic stress affects the body and practical ways to support the nervous system.

Supporting Health in Busy Lives
Small, achievable strategies around nutrition, sleep, and movement that support sustainable wellbeing.

Sessions are designed to be informative, interactive and practical, helping teams understand their bodies and how to support their health.

                                                                            Additional Workplace Wellbeing Support

Some organisations choose to expand their wellbeing offering further through:
• On-site functional blood testing
• Personalised nutrition consultations for employees
• Workplace wellbeing days
• Small group programmes

These options allow employees to gain deeper insights into their health and energy levels.

Nourish Your Life: A More In-Depth Approach to Wellbeing

Alongside my work through Nourish to Soar, I am also part of Nourish Your Life, a collaborative wellbeing initiative bringing together expertise in nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and mindset development.

Working alongside organisations such as Synergems and Venn Health, this programme offers a deeper approach to workplace wellbeing.

Where traditional wellbeing sessions often focus purely on information, Nourish Your Life programmes incorporate reflective practice, helping individuals explore:

• How their current habits influence their wellbeing
• The relationship between stress, behaviour and energy
• How mindset shapes health decisions and resilience
• Practical strategies for sustainable change

This approach helps people move beyond simply knowing what they “should” do and instead develop the awareness and tools needed to make lasting changes.  You can learn more about this collaborative programme at www.nourishyourlife.co.uk

About Claire Thomas

I’m Claire Thomas, founder of Nourish to Soar. Before retraining as a Nutritional Therapist, I spent over 15 years working as a children’s nurse, often in high-pressure clinical environments.

My work now combines that clinical background with nutrition, lifestyle medicine, and coaching approaches to support people experiencing fatigue, burnout, and chronic stress.

Through workplace wellbeing sessions, I aim to help individuals understand how their body works, so they can make informed choices that support both health and performance.
